This painting depicts a memory of my father who was a Guard on the railway and the station is based on green park in Bath, UK. I am not a specialist steam loco artist so kept the engine to a simple tank design that was a common sight in those days. The arrival of a train was exciting with all the noise, steam and smoke and the sight of my father emerging from the swirling clouds will always stay with me.
